Who makes best dial up 56k modem?

CPU/Ram: PIII; 256M

There aren't many reviews on dial up 56 K modems anymore. I have used Zoom's 56K V 92 modem on two systems and this seems to work pretty well for a dial up modem. Anyone
have preferences for an improved dial up modem?

I was a faithful US Robotics fan for years until I encountered a series of very funky acting defective modems.

I now use Creative modems and have been very happy with them.

As long as it ain't a WinModem ie software varient they all seem to do the job, drivers are usually the weak point.

I know that Win Modems arn't as efficient as a full modem and will be sure my next modem will not be a Win Modem.
