After my last PSU killed itself along with my Motherboard I have to get a replacement. I'll hopefully be getting my Motherboard replaced in about a week so I need to get a new PSU.

I don't really want the scenario of the PSU blowing up again so I'm gonna pay a bit more for a good quality PSU. I've found two in my favoured price range but don't know which one to choose.

Using one of those power consumption calculator my system will consume about 370W on full load. My last PSU was 400W and lasted about 1.5 years with this set-up so I don't think it was put under great strain. I thought I'd select one with a bit more power just to be on the safe side.

If anyone has any other suggestions for any other PSU, then please say. I'd like to keep my budget around £40 (~$70) if I can.

I would choose the Antec. They make a very good quality PSU and the warranty is 3 years. I just put one in my box and it was flawless. Good Luck....

I would pick the Seasonic instead, they are both good but the Seasonic should be a tad better.

It's Active-PFC equipped, quieter and cooler with higher CFM and reliability (MBTF), plus its got a 24-Pin main connector (no big deal, Antec has 20+4 pin).

So here pretty much equal then?

Guess I'll think about it although I did quite like the Seasonic, just didn't know if it would be good enough.
