Specs: Windows 7
need to use Rhinoceros 4, Autocad, Solidworks, vectorworks, V-ray render, Adobe Photoshop, In design, Illustrator.....

You need to find out the system requirements for each package; what works best for one of them may not work best for all. Also the OS, video, RAM and other factors will likely be a factor in determining what's "best" for each one.

Of those you list (and that I recognize), I'd suspect Solidworks would be one of the heaviest on resources. It's system requirements are here:

I'd guess opteron would be best processor but the combo graphic card and processor would turn the total system back to maybe an icore 7 system.

System requirements are generally for plenty of memory, also multitasking is important. Rendering software with my current system is very slow and it would definately be an advantage to carry on working while the system performs this task.

I have viewed the specs for some PNY NVIDIA Quadro cards or could an AMD Radeon card be just as good or better?
