Hi firstly could someone please tell me if more RAM would make Championship Manager run quicker on my computer. I have an Athlon 2600+XP and 512 RAM. Secondly what is the difference between the different types of memory and which do I need. Finally does anybody have any recommendations for places to buy it cheaply (England).

Cheers

go to www.crucial.com and you can find out what type of memory you need by system or motherboard, also has good prices for memory. You can also find out about the different kinds of memory there.

I doubt more of the same memory would make any difference at all.

Faster memory, on the other hand, would.

However, upgrading your cpu would give a far more noticeable performance increase.

If you want to get some new RAM, Crucial and Corsair seem to be the most popular for speed freaks. ;o)

You have quite a bit of RAM. I also doubt very much if more will make a difference.
