OS: win xp
CPU/Ram: e6550 2GB 800MHz CL4
Comment:

pretty simple question:
Are there any suggestions for mobo's, up to $120? I need it to support 800MHz memory for sure. Will probably don an e6550 Intel on it.
I would like to overclock, hopefully up to 1066.

So, any ideas?

Almost all new boards can accept DDR2-800 RAM (or better). Do you plan on running your CPU at 1600MHz FSB? Because that's what you'd need to take full advantage of DDR2-800.

"I would like to overclock, hopefully up to 1066"

Huh? The E6550 runs at 1333MHz FSB...do you plan on underclocking it? lol

Are you at all familiar with quad data rates (QDR) & double data rates (DDR) vs actual frequencies? A 1066MHz FSB CPU has a freq of 266MHz, a 1333MHz FSB CPU has a freq of 333MHz. DDR2-800 RAM has a freq of 400MHz, so it already outpaces either 1066MHz or 1333MHz FSB CPUs.

"any suggestions for mobo's, up to $120?"

Look for a board based on Intel's P35 chipset but since you wanna overclock, stay away from boards built by Intel. Tom's Hardware has numerous articles/reviews on P35 based boards...I suggest you do some reading before you start shopping.
