Which dual channel speed?

Which dual channel ram speed should i keep? I have 2 gig dual channel ram at pc2500 or should i try the 1 gig dual channel ram at pc3200?

Dual channel is a function of the motherboard, not the RAM. Your 3500+ CPU runs at 200MHz bus speed & so should your RAM. If your CPU is the socket 939 type, you should be using 2 sticks of PC3200 configured in dual channel mode...if it's a socket 754 CPU, you should still be using PC3200, but dual channel mode is not supported

I have 4 sticks of pc3200 ram. If i put them all in they just show up as 2 gigs pc2500 ram in everest and cpuz. If i put just 2 of them in (same brand) they show pc3200 but 1 gig.

It may be a limitation of the chipset. Check your manual or go to the manufacturer's website to see if there's an explanation about any RAM limit.
