There are many different versions of the GTX. There are ones made by or have the name of XFX geforce 7800 gtx or ones that say BFG. Now I want a card that is overclocked. But im not sure which ones of these is the best around.

I don't understand why someone would lay out $450-500 for one of the hottest video cards currently available & then insist on having the overclocked version? LOL! Do you really think it would make a significant difference? Hey, if you have that kinda money to throw around, why not spend $750+ & get the 512MB version? It runs at 580MHz/1750MHz & should kick the crap outta of the 256MB versions, or would that be ridiculous? LMAO!
Are you even sure your system will support it without bottlenecking? Do you have a kickass CPU & a really decent, high wattage power supply w/ plenty of amperage across the rails? You're gonna need more RAM too & you should be running in dual channel mode, I doubt you're running dual channel with 768MB.

Chris,
As of a year or so ago, BFG cards had a lifetime warranty. This came in handy when one of their video cards malfunctioned and they exchanged it for me withount any questions. If they still offer a lifetime warranty, my vote is with them.

E-VGA is the best. Trust me.
I've got an E-VGA 7800GTX 512mb, and it overclocks like a madman...I've got it scoring a whopping 10,800 on 3DMark05 right now.Though if you have to go with either the XFX or BFG one, I'd choose the BFG.

Both EVG and BFG offer life time warranties.
The BFG's are shipped overclocked.Asus A8V Deluxe Rev.2

Jam calm down, I just wanted to know what company was better. I know that I have to get a kich ass proccessor, ram ect. I was just wondering.

Wait so 512mb cards are better, because I have heard that they are slower than 256mb cards. I also heard of bad reviews for those cards, Is that true?
