What do you mean they were too big? They didn't fit in the slot/slots? Or is your case real small? Are you buying PCI, PCI Express or AGP cards?

Shaun,

"i have an asus p4p800-mx"

Short Answer: Is because your board (P4P800-MX {865GV}) doesn't have an AGP slot. If it was a P4P800-VM (865G), it would have a AGP slot.

P4P800-MX
P4P800-VM

Good Luck,
