Anyone know where I could buy a touch screen? Just the screen, nothing else, something like an eeepc screen.

You can buy it from computer hardware stores or online stores

For example, Newegg.com

Jesus that's quite a price. What I'm looking to do is build a wireless touch screen monitor that I can hook up to my main pc in the house or my laptop and carry it around instead of not moving the desktop or taking the laptop about.

I was thinking of using a touchscreen, laptop battery and a wireless pc video sender all rolled into one. The only thing I can't figure out is how to get the touchscreen info back to the PC.

Most of the touch screens still need the video signal generated. I haven't seen a standalone wireless display driver. It would be cheaper to get an existing touch screen laptop or tablet.

Could you not just use a wireless video sender?

Maybe but the resolution would essentially be composite.

Ah well, was a nice thought but looks like I will have to wait for tech to get cheaper before I try it lol.
