While waiting for where to buy that animal, start saving up for a new powersupply. That sucker has double power connectors and am sure it ain't just for decoration.

1981 to March 2004. CPUs are the most complex and power consuming component of PCs.

April 14, 2004. Video cards push CPUs aside.

Notes about this announcement:

- The nvidia GeForce ultra 6800 does not have an "FX" in its name

- the two separate molex power connectors are not to be shared with hard drives or cd drives.

- 222 million transistors

- 512MB memory

- drivers are not as ready as hardware, so like the Ti4200, it will get better as drivers are refined.

- 110 Watts is more power than any CPU, yet the stock cooling is lighter. Aftermarket coolers are going to be popular.
