I thought I would start up something fun.

I went out today, and bought a Sidewinder Precision Pro today, for $2!

My local thrift store is great!

Downloading the drivers now.

Other bargains I have got include a $350 webcam/video conferencing card for $15 and a used hard drive I bought for next to nothing which failed, and I sent it back to the manufacturere (stil in warranty) and a got a free new one!

Come on, interested to know who else has done well on the bargains!

The stuff flows like the Mighty Mississippi. It is part of our popular culture, buy it today tomorrow it is junk. As Kurt Vonnigit refers to it as "Kipple"

Got two boxes of small hard drives, 1 gig & below for 10.00. Have only tested 5 & they worked. One had a bad sector on it, which is no big deal, but I've had no problem with it in my older 486. Small box of isa sound card. I think there where 10 in the box, 2 for a dollar. Have tested 3 of these & they worked. 8 computers for 20.00. 5 worked, the others didn't. Gutted the none working ones & threw them away. 1 vga monitor 10.00. Got this all from a computer company going out of business sale.
