Hi, I'm having a weird problem since I changed my motherboard.
Since I changed it, I get noice in the sound and the video.
I mean, it works fine, but while playing music, I sometimes hear noise in it, sometimes not.
It's not in the music itself, it's not the amplifier or the speakers.
I have a voodoo banshee card in the computer, and when displaying blue colors, I get artifacts all over the screen, especially when browsing the internet, but I think that's because the content changes rapidly. I tried to use other drivers from voodoofiles.com, but that didn't help either.

could this be a conflict with the NIC or something?
the soundcard is a creative audioPCI ES1370 or a SB PCI 64/128 (WDM).
NIC is Realtec RTL8029 PCI

any ideas?

Hmmm, problem got a little bit solved. I found better drivers for the voodoo banshee, so the noise on the screen is gone.

I looked at the system information in computer management, and found out that there was a conflict between my nic and my soundcard, as I suspected. But this conflict didn't show up if I just looked at the properties of the cards. They were both using IRQ 11, which was caused by the fact that the PCI-slots were sharing the same IRQ (I think). I just moved the soundcard to a different PCI-slot and most of the problems are solved.

I'm still experiencing some problems though. Somethimes if I open a connectio to the internet, I hear a click through my speakers. could this be caused by the nic, sooking to much power or something?

euhhhh, and how can I figure out what is causing it? or how do I solve it?
I'm still using the same power supply as before I changed the mobo.

the drivers for the voodoo-card helped a bit, but it is not completely gone.
I changed the nic, and it also got a little better, but not completly gone.
It also gets worse when I'm connecting to the internet and having several connections at a time.
