I would like to know what is the best processor that I can put in my dell optiplex GX1. Here is what I could find out.

Cpu vendor- Genuineintel
CPU name - Flip Chip Celeron
Socket Type - my mobo is slot 1 but I have an adapter so it can accept socket 370
Model - 0683
BIOS Vendor - Phoenix
BIOS Version - 1.10A03
BIOS Date - 10/27/98
Chipset - Intel 440BX/ZX with agp

Please tell me anything you can I would really appreciate it thanks.

That doesn't have the motherboard model number thing or say who made it. Look on the motherboard to see who made it and what model it is. For example, mine says "Tyan S2460". If you provide this information you or someone else can look it up online.
