Basically i want to upgrade my ram on my time pc. only i dont know what type of ram i need and dont wana buy the wrong one obviously! so i need to know if any1 can tell me how to find out what ram i have? and also out to find out my time pc's model number is? thankyou :)

Reply: (edit)Everest home edition from lavalys.com will tell you a lot about your system including motherboard info and current ram spec.
Crucial.com will tell you exactly what ram you need I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Reply: (edit)thankyou for the quick reply!! i have downloaded everest, its says i have 480 ddr sdram. does that mean i have to buy ddrsdram? also ive been to crucial already, i tried to use the wizard but for the 3rd stage i need to give my model number, but i dont know where to find it. so crucial isnt much help at the minute!

Reply: (edit)What does Everest say about your motherboard model number? With that info you should be able to use the crucial ram advisor. I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
