I am looking for new computer speakers. I only need 2 satelite speakers and a sub-wofer. What should I look for when buying new speakers? Is there a good MHz range? I use my computer for music and games. Can you find good speakers for under 100 bucks?

Watch the ads in the newspaper for after-Thanksgiving sales at the local chains (i.e. BestBuy, Circuit City, CompUSA, etc). I got a great Philips system last year for $10 after rebate.

ryan I would look for the same things as if you were buying stereo speakers. Try to listen to then before you buy. something with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz with a high sensitivity of say 88dB/w/m and able to handle the wattage needed for the type of music/games you play.Usually if you stick with a good brand name you cant go wrong..Yamaha,phillips,etc
