So my sister's dell 9300's geforce 6800 go died in her laptop. The exact symptoms are crazy flashing and artifacts all over the screen from the instant you turn it on and get worse over time. You can still see enough to get into the operating system and mess around so the computer still works. I was just wondering what should I do with it?
She already has a new laptop and the mobile graphics chip costs too much to replace and the computer is already like 3 years past its warranty.
So I am looking for ideas on what to do with it. I guess I could make a little server or something out of it since laptops don't use much power. What do you guys think?
