what to do after a low level format of flash

Specs: Windows XP
i have a 32gb flash memory stick and i wouldnt work properly so i hunted around and tried everything exept low level format and nothing worked but after tinkering with the low level format i tried it as several people said thats the only way so i did it and it removed everything exept the write protection on the flash drive which was annoying as it still dont work and i still cant load anything on to it. ive tried several ways of repairing and nothing can work with it, when i try to work anyhing against it the computer says this drive is empty or its write protected please use another disc . please help im runnining xp

The drive is likely bad and needs to be replaced. A flash drive is the least reliable of modern storage media. Be sure you always have an alternate copy of any important data on a flash drive.
