What do you mean you NEED to buy a case? Why don't you buy a decent motherboard too. The 6150SE chipset your board is based on is old/outdated (2005).

emachines are known for their crappy power supplies. So you should also get a new quality unit.

Why do you need a new case? Or is it you just want a case that looks cool? Problem with finding low profile cards?

That case appears to be a slimline type, which will have an oddball power supply.

I suggest you just start fresh with all new stuff.

so you think i should buy a new motherboard instead. i just wanted to put my old video card in, so i can watch movies on my tv, and play a 5 year old game (medal of honor). which way do you think would be cheaper, in the short run.

OK, if you had said that to start then the answers would have been different.

I can't find any information on what form factor your motherboard is. I am not sure you can install that motherboard into an mATX or ATX case. The power supply will be too small to power much of a graphics card either.

So, you may be talking about a case, power supply, motherboard.

Might as well sell that rig and get something that will do what you need.

Your small computer may have some resale value if you keep it intact.

Below is a link to the specs of your computer. Can't determine the power supply ratings but that type of computer are usually under 200W.

Look at the link below to determine what form factor ;your motherboard is. You need to measure it.
