I bought a computer off eBay a few months back and in the item description it said the RAM was DDR2. A few months later I removed one of the RAM sticks and on the stick it said DDR 400 PC3200 CL3. Does this mean my computer only supports DDR or can it support both DDR and DDR2. Please HELP ME!

I don't think that there were any P4 boards that supported both DDR and DDR2, though I could be wrong about that (there were Socket A boards that supported both PC-133 and PC-2100 memory quite a while back).
**Edit** Just found out that there are indeed P4 boards that take both DDR and DDR2, though not at the same time.
Which motherboard do you have? Once you find out, Google will tell all you need to know. Or, you could just look at the memory slots. Do any of the memory slots look different from the one that you just pulled the PC3200 module from? If they all look the same, then your motherboard only takes 184-pin DDR.
Pentium III--Descendant of Intel Core.
Pentium III-S 1400 @ 1.63GHz, 512K L2
X800XT AIW OC 580/600
2GB of RAM
250GB HD
SB Audigy 2
QDI Advance 12 mobo
Smugly running Vista

Why did you wait 3 months before looking into the system specs to make sure you got what you paid for??
What motherboard do you have? Some boards support both DDR1 & DDR2. Check the manufacturer's website for info...& you might wanna download the manual while you're there (for future reference).
DDR2 wouldn't help the performance on a P4/800FSB setup anyway, in fact, it may even hurt it. Most "value" DDR2 RAM is CL5, your RAM is CL3.
