What pc need high or low density me

Specs: Windows XP, P4-2.8/1GB
I want upgrade my desktop pc memory.
I read motherboard info., it said board support PC2700, DDR 333, CL = 2.5, unbuffered, Non-ECC, 2.5v memory.

But when I want buy memory, they ask about high or low density memory, I said I don't know need high or low density because board info. didn't said it.

How do I know my pc need high or low denisty memory ?

if you are not sure, don't get high density. Where are you buying it from?

Look at the link below paying attention to the memory portion. There is a notation at the bottom concerning the density issue. That 512MB note.


Go to the link below and use the memory configurator at the left to determine what you need.

You may need to remove RAM in order to get to the full 2GB your board can use. You only have two slots.
