What is problem I can not power up

I had Dell Inspiron 8000 laptop. After conncet to AC power adapter and push power on button, I see power light (green ) on, but few seconds later, power light off by self. I tried many times, it is same way, power light on for few seconds, then off. power light never blink or beep, jusr on and off by self. I tried with battery, same problem. i can not power on this laptop .

Seems like your mainboard has problems. Can you take it to Dell support to get it repaired ?
