Which of the following cards would you say was the better. ie most futureproof/best for gameing and playing DVD's.

I have chosen either GF4 Ti4200 or Radeon 9500 Pro as these are within my budget.

Also which make would you recomend. (gainward, Leadtek, Saphire)

Kind Regrds

i have just been in the process of looking at cards i got told the following by salesmen.

dont look at the manufacturer of the card but look at the chipset i.e gf4 or radion.

also i got told continously to go for nvidea gforce4 cards, whether the salesmen got more commision for these i dont know.

there are alot of sites that do reviews and tests on these cards and compare them.

also if you look on computer parts websites they usally give you a detailed spec list for the cards to compare them.

im not that much in the know about them so i wil not advise you o which ones best. good luck

Cheers guy's ,

I decided on A GF4 ti4200 by MSI, It has 128mb Ram 8x agp and also comes with OC software.

I installed the card this weekend and it is fantastic, Playing Splintercell and the graphics are great, espescially the first mission in the burning police station (the fire looks very realistic).

Thanks Again
