Iam very upset that i made the mistake of doing what was described as a non-distructive install of my O/S ,where basically you browse your way to the setup.exe app for your O/S (WinMe) and install over the top of your current install ,I was having a ocassional KERNEL.DLL error ,now I have a problem with my ATI TV Wonder USB Edition ,in close program box it says "not responding" when I try to start watching TV ,it worked fine B/4 this "re-install" I've tried uninstalling the TV Wonder and Re-installing it several times ,removed it in device manager ,updated to a newer version of the muti-media center, it seems I have some file missing thats needed to allow TV on my PC ,cant figure it out! Help anyone, perhaps a codec thats a must for TV ,or a .inf file ,seems lie the possibilities are endless !
Take Care Nick

"the possibilities are endless !"

... and so are the number of posts you've made on this - which you don't seem to follow up on

Doesn't sound like a codec issue - reinstallation has been suggested...

Well I apoligize if you feel I have followed up on the post with my problems since te over the toop reinstall ,one thhing I can tell you is from my registry to my files I have listings of 1 & 2 of just about everything ,ther TV Wonder however is the only device listed twice in device manager, once under Sound Video and Game controllers (thats where ATI says it suppose to be listed) ,however when it did work for me, B/4 the over the top reinstall of O/S ,it was listed under imaging device only ,now its in both places ? I had my neighbor burn the Mutlti Media Center 7.4 and the driver off ATI's web site ,installed did not work ,uninstalled, reinstalled , I need at this current time to use my online banking so Iam kind of afraid to format and reinstall everything including ,all of my internet capabilities ,as long I have have internet access I can still ask ?'s about this problem and pray I find a fix. After all I guess its just TV on my PC ,however I was so use to having that little box in the corner while surfing the net with TV news on and C-SPAN that I really miss it ,and I feel like Iam so close yet so far from getting it to work again ,I tried watching a DVD with my InterVideo application and it worked ,it seems most things are working except one of the things I used the most ,the TV Wonder (DAM)
Thanks Nick
Now will you kindly follow up with a reply ?

I'm never keen on responding to (or even reading) book length posts.

I can't tell you what, exactly your (computer) problem is but my feeling (as well as others) is that a fresh start is in order.

You've made something like 6 - 10 (epic) posts on this in the last week or so (some deleted) all over more or less the same issue

As jam said:

Please, give us all a break
