Hi, a few days ago I posted which of 2 pcs of my own was better (for the selling issue), well... I sell the pc1 and now I have a new question: In the bios main menu of the pc2 (which I kept) appears Hyper Threading Technology. What is that?? I've searched in Google but nothing is really clear so, what is your experience with HTT enabled?
Thanks

wikipedia isn't a stable referrence guide considering anyone can go in there and edit things. I don't know how many times I have read stuff from there and found them to be off or way off on certain things.

Intel's take on the subject with much available info.

Note: If the software maker did not program the application to take advantage of HTT then it does little for you (or me).

Some time ago I read an article where it was tested with and without it being enabled in BIOS and it did perform better with a graphics application. I am unable to locate that article now though. The bottom line, as I interpreted it, was that it's better with it enabled.

There are several comparisons shown at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...

What does that have anything to do with finding accurate stuff on the web?
