Comment:
I installed a WG311 PCI Adapter in my pc running Win 98SE. On startup WG311 Smart Configuration(wlancfg5.exe) loads real quick and then dissapears from the system tray. It says that it was disabled on startup.
I have one installed on another pc with Win XP Home with no problem.
I'm trying to network the pc. Can someone help me so I can get it to load?
YES! but you will need a new motherboard as well as the CPU, AMD K6 only went up to 550mhz on SS7 MoBo's and were Socket 7. After K6, AMD changed to SlotA then SocketA etcetc
