i was just wondering if anyone knows that if western digital has the WD Caviar SE16 1TB hdd out yet, can someone confirm that for me? i was searching online and i found this one website that sells it in the link below but im not too sure if thats the correct one as western digital doesnt advertise them having one for the SE16 model on their website. i surfed on western digitals website and the only 1TB they showed was the WD Caviar GP model.

Why do you want to spend a premium for a 1TB drive? Didn't check the pricing but I would guess you could buy 3 500GB for the price of the 1TB. If you use 2 500MB drives for example and you have a drive failure you risk losing half your data. With the 1TB you risk it all. IMO 1TB drive makes no sense at all.
Looked at Newegg.com and the 1TB drives run $329/359. WD 500MB 16MB cache $115. Numbers don't work for me.
