My computer is having some weird sound issues ;/. In order to hear music out of the right speaker, the connector coming from the speakers has to be plugged into the soundcard (obviously), and the headphone jack in front of the computer has to be plugged in HALF way (Im using a nub of a headphone cord simply to act as if something is plugged in.) In order to hear music out of the left speaker, the connector on the speakers has to be plugged into the headphone jack in front fully, with nothing connected to the soundcard. To actually hear sound out of both the speakers, both the soundcard connector coming from the speakers and the headphone jack nub, have to be plugged in half way. Obviously this is very annoying getting everything right simply to hear even sounds ;x, so I was hoping someone could tell me a way to fix it so all I need to do is plug the speakers into the soundcard, and hear music evenly. Not from just one speaker, but both -_-.

I know the problem isnt in the speakers. Ive used 2 different sets of speakers, and both of them did the same thing.

Hope someone can help ;/.

You need to disconnect the front audio leads. Something in the way that is wired is seriously screwed up. My speakers have their own headphone socket. so If I need to use headphones I plug them in there.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
