WD MyBook 4TB not getting power? Can I save files off it?

I have a 4TB MyBook and didn't set up any kind of security. The problem I'm having is I unplugged it for two months while repairing/replacing a computer, and when I plugged it back in, it's not getting any power. I've tried multiple adapters, and multiple plugs in the house. Zero power. No spinning, humming, no LEDs. Nothing. But as far as I know the data is safe? I've contacted WD and they said they'd replace it, but the data is FAR more valuable to me than the hunk of hardware. I don't want a replacement unless they're going to swap my data over.

I keep hearing how easy it is to pop the case off and just use it as an internal drive, and I am 100% fine with doing that! However, I also hear that these are hardware-encrypted and that if I try to do that I'm out of luck and won't be able to access my data AND will have voided my warranty.

Before you do anything first test connect the 4TB to two different computers. If it is recognized the problem could be the computer you repaired/replaced itself.

It's not even that the computer won't recognize it. It's not getting that far. It's not even getting power from the AC adapter.

Johnw, that is WAY beyond my ability, and beyond my means. I don't have an old computer sitting around that can handle that. Thank you though.
