Do you need a Quantium Harddrive on a Compaq, because i installed Windows 98 and it worked and i restarted twice. Now it wont pick up the harddrive, just say disk controller error. My quantium HD works just fine on it, but i dont need a huge HD init so i want to use my WD. The WD works on everything else ive tested it on. Compaq just seem's to always not like what you ad to it.
