Is this a second hard drive that you installed for storage? When you connect a new hard drive the BIOS assumes you want that drive to be first in the boot order. If you are simply trying to add storage then at start up you need to enter the BIOS (setup) screens and change the boot order back to the original hard drive.

All the message is telling you is that drive is not bootable, which being a new drive, would not be bootable unless you install an operating system on it.

If you are installing a new hard drive that will be the primary or bootable hard drive then you also must boot into your BIOS set up and set the drive as bootable and second in boot order behind your CD/DVD drive, then insert your Windows 7 install disk, recovery disk, or Windows 7 repair disk and USB drive that has a disk image on it. Then reboot to the DVD (tap any key when prompted to boot from DVD drive). When you boot to the DVD disk, you can then partition and format the disk and install the OS or image the drive from the stored image.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
