wd 800B008-rnn windows 7 driver

Specs: Windows 7
western 80 gig hard drive windows 7 will not load it, need driver in device manager and see if that works or western dose not support this and i cant get the family pictures off it?

You shouldn't need any special driver. Make sure the drive is connected to a rear USB port on the motherboard, NOT a front USB port on the case. If it doesn't show up in "Computer", check Disk Management to see if it's listed there.

it dont matter witch one i plug into
the green light stays on and the red blinking
i called western and they only have xp drivers so how to get the stuff off it?
