my aunt's laptop. she has run out of hard drive space and needs to install a bigger hard drive. but the problem is she has too much on the drive to lose, so she/we cannot simply put a new, larger hard drive in it and reinstall windows fresh.is there any way in hell to Ghost or copy one hard drive to another with laptop hard drives??? or maybe add a second hard drive?? but mainly we need to make an exact copy of the old to the new. is there any way to Ghost or otherwise make an exact copy when dealing with laptop drives?? thanx all.

I drive an awesome 1972 Trans Am 455 Super Duty that gets about 8-10mpg, but thats a small price to pay for such awesomeness.

The best and cheapest way to do this, is to buy TWO of those little laptop--to desktop hdd adaptors--they're not expensive, and then you can (temporarily) install the laptop drives in a desktop, and use a program (such as Ghost) to duplicate one to the other.

Actually, you could of course do it with just one laptop drive adaptor, if you have a spare hard desktop hard drive that you can use for temporary storage of the image.
