Last week I was having problem with my hdd (tat's wat i thought), i got stop error (viamraid.sys) randomly, i have to zero fill my hdd over and over again, but the problem kept coming back, and i decided reseat the ram and it works, the viamraid.sys error was gone, then i installed a fresh winxp and messed around with the overclocking tools (MSI core center) and it crashes and rebooted, and it just hanged at network boot options, so i think reseted and entered bios, but some of the characters in bios gone sluggish, so i took out the cmos battery, and it's back to normal, zero filled and installed fresh copy of windows, but now and then I get an stop error, I cant even read the error mssg, sumtin about inadequete hard disk space OR graphic adapter , not sure which one, the stop error pops up right after the 'loading' screen, so i went into safe mode and uninstalled the vga driver ( powercolor radeon 9600 ez 256), then roll back to older version driver, but now the error pops up randomly. So what's the problem? faulty hdd? corrupted bios? graphics card? driver? thx

Why are you zero filling? That's totally unnecessary.

From what I can see, you're trying to overclock the hell outta everything. When installing XP, your BIOS settings should be at their defaults.

2800+ at 2.2ghz/210mhz FSB? How'd ya pull that off? The multiplier for the 2800+ is 12.5x, so at 210mhz FSB, your CPU speed would be 2.625ghz, not 2.2ghz. Did you increase the CPU voltage at all?

And what about your RAM? You have PC2700 (DDR333) listed...are you running that at 210mhz as well? For best performance, your CPU & RAM should run at the same bus speed. If your RAM is running at 166mhz & your CPU at 210mhz, your performance is less than optimal.

The "viamraid.sys" error seems self-explanatory. You apparently have a VIA based motherboard with RAID. I suspect the overclocking has something to do with the error. Reclock your CPU to 12.5 x 166mhz & set your RAM speed to 166mhz with default timings & see what happens.
