Doing a quick search it seems like the radeon x1900xtx does not have a TV Tuner card built-in. So, without a TV Tuner card, no. However, TV Tuner cards start at about 20 USD. Virtually all TV Tuner/Capture cards come with software that allows full screen display.

Think of a stereo receiver hooked up to speakers. It can play an audio signal straight from your tape deck, or your old turntable, or a CD player. All it does with these is amplify their signal. But to listen to the radio, it first needs to use the tuner part of the receiver to convert the radio waves to an audio signal, which it then amplifies and sends to the speakers.

vivo allows video in and video out, such as to and from your VCR, dealing (whether input or output) with a video signal. But to watch TV on a computer you need to first run the cable TV signal through a tuner, similar to how a stereo receiver needs to tune the radio waves before amplifying them.

Vivo cards do not necessarily have TV tuning capability. Those that do, have a coax connector on them, like here:

hauppauge dominates the TV tuner market for PCs. I have three win-tv go cards that I got for $10-$15 each on ebay. They work fine and come with free software that allows full screen, etc. They go into a PCI slot and are not video cards - your PC still needs a video card. Or you can get a card that both tunes TV signals and is a video card as well, like the All-In-Wonder 9700pro pictured above.

you people don't understand i have bell expressvu which is a reciever. I change channel on my receiver not on my tv my tv ALLWAYS stays on the same channel. My reciever can output the signal in s-video which can be pluged at the back of this card so I DO NOT need a tv tuner.

P.S: Channels ARE changed on receiver and NOT the TV

thanks
