Ok, I want to change out my Stock Dell case with something better and get a new power supply. I heard Dell's power supplys are odd and their mother boards don't conform to ATX standards (<--?).... whats a brother to do?

Everyone likes the smell of their own poop, admit it.

Dell cases and PSUs may be proprietary.

One thing to do, brother, is accept the Dell case or, if you want something different, build your own computer.
