Solved Want all PCs behind router to use its DNS settings

Specs: Windows 7
I have 4 PCs (more are on the way) behind a Linksys E1000 router. I want them all to use its OpenDNS settings, rather than having to setup each to bypass Comcast's DNSSEC. On the router I went to Setup -> DHCP Server Setting and made static DNS 1 = and DNS 2 =, which are values I got directly from OpenDNS. Some of the PCs are set up for Google DNS and resolve through it. Do these settings have to be removed to insure that all use OpenDNS?

✔ Best Answer
Presume the router is set to do your DHCP. If the client systems attached to the router have their TCP/IP properties set to "Obtain IP automatically" and "Obtain DNS Automatically" then you have your answer. Whatever you have set in the router will be used by the attached clients.

Richard has it right, just make sure your computers are set to 'obtain DNS automatically' and you should be all set.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
