Comment:

Well I got this computer about a year ago and I usually just play games with it. However, about a month after I bought it, the Cpu usage seems to go from 5-10% to 90-100% by just click on an application or simply waving the mouse around. Running apps. like Interenet Explore or My computer is normal and smooth(cpu still spkies though) but playing games that ran perfectly well before are now extremely laggy. I've tried using recovery disks to wipe(?) my computer and that gets rid of the problem for about 2weeks and then it comes back. Please help me this is getting really annoying. Thanks.

The best place to view info is performance monitor. I think they re-named it in vista.

"when infact there is a problem with the cpu"

How do come to that conclusion? The CPU is working isn't it. Something is causing all those cycles to be used.

Check for spyware/malware and clean out the system. Use Ccleaner Slim & Malwarebytes. Get them at the links below.

Run an AntiVirus software scan too.
