Hi. My computer is not saving the settings,if I change the wallpaper,or for instance system restore,after I reboot the computer it goes back to the setting I changed. It says virtual memory low, is that the problem.I need help thanks Horst

256mb of RAM is kinda low for XP. You either need more RAM or you need to cut back on the number of programs that you have running.

It might also be that you are running short of hard drive space for the page file.

Hi. Thanks for the quick responce. The harddrive is 40 gig, and over half empty. I do not know how big the space on the harddrive is for page files. Horst
