Hi, I just upgraded to Win XP. My old NVIDIA 64MB video card has CD with drivers, but as I can see Win XP found and installed correct drivers for it. Is there any advantage to install original drivers on top of those WinXP found or drivers used by winXP are OK to do the work?

Thanks.

In my opinion, if the XP drivers work, don't mess with it.

YES. There is advantage.

Go to www.nvidia.com and get the latest detonator drivers!!!! XP drivers work, but they are basic and out of date, so performance tweaks will be gained if you get the latest drivers.

XP lets you 'roll back' drivers. If you make a mistake and install the wrong driver, you can undo it.

Some Windows 2K drivers work fine with XP, so if you've got 2K drivers on your CD, try them, and if they don't work, roll 'em back and try something else
