Hi there, Just recently My machine have been freezing totally ( with the monitor all filled with vertical line very colourful) and that even when fireing up windows for the first time ( after formating )before installing any driver. I've formated HDD thinking it would solve the problem but not.
It just started doing that suddenly, nothing have been change in the bios, same card for quite a few month now,( ATI Radeon 8500LE )
I've put the card in a different machine and it work very fine, and the replacement card ( ATI Rage Fury Maxx ) work fine so it's not an AGP slot issue, could it be a volting surcharge from the power supply ? It is not overheating cuz it also happen just after I turn the machine on. Is'nt the new generation of card run on 1.5v instead of 3.3v ? could that be it ? but why after 4 month ? Any sugestion would be apreciate. It is kinda of a old MoBo, A TYAN Trinity 400 with a 500Mgz Celeron . I tought of a conflict with other PCI Cards but same result with all card removed but Vid,,,,,

Just have to ask this first, before giving any answer. Do you have anti-virus software and it's up-to-date on the computer?
