Hi My video settings must have been changed or something and now when I start my machine, it shows the BIOS and the Win98 splash screen but after that it goes black and my monitor flashes up the message "88K / 101Hz Frequency is out of range".
I tried hooking up other monitors (crt and lcd) but they won't work either. If anybody could direct me on this one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Boot to windows safe mode by tapping the F8 key on startup. Enter device manager and change the settings to something within range. This is an unusual condition. Once you rectify the situation, enter your advanced video settings and set to display only settings the monitor is capable of displaying. Exceeding monitor capabilities can damage the monitor. If you are unable to change the refresh rate from safe mode, try changing the resolution and rebooting. If still no go, go to device manager and update the display driver using the correct name. You should find it on the list if you ask for a list of compatible devices. This should set your settings back to default.
