I am thinking my PCI Express slot is dead?? My video stopped working...I bought a brand new video card and it doesnt work either. My montitor works, nothing happens when I power on my PC...any other possibilities?

Having no video is frequently merely a symptom and doesn't necessarily indicate there is anything wrong with your video hardware. If you have not been fiddling inside your case changing connections or components just before this first happened, the most likely thiing is your power supply is failing, or has failed completely. Failing power supplies are common and can cause your symptoms. Check your PS.
