Right now my motherboard has an onboard video card, it is only 1mb! That is nothing, I just wanted to know what performance difference an 8mb card would make? There are no AGP slots on my computer but there a two empty PCI slots. I would habe to use a PCI video card if they still make them. I am not much into heavy gaming on my computer, the game that I use that is the most advance is Sim City 3000, other than I use the video card to watch MPEG videos and some AVI videos (and yes it does play them and not slow!) Would it clear up the picture a bit for these MPEG and AVI videos? And I know I have a lot of questions here (which I usually do) what is the highest card I could put in it if I could not find an old 8mb card, like could I put in a 64mb card?

Thank-You

If you use a geforce card in a computer as old as yours, you may have to watch your power supply as well (i.e. you may need a bigger power supply)
