Specs: Windows 7, Intel Dual Core 1.86 GHz - 2 GB RAM
Okay, so I got a new DVD-ROM and I shutted the computer down so I can plug it in. I plugged it in and the cpu fan or a fan (but I think the CPU one) went faster then normally I think and the video card stopped sending signal to the monitor, the monitor just remained blank with the led on yellow ... and the computer didn't make the BEEP like always for detecting the monitor.

I have tried to plug and unplug video card .. tried to unplug the power cord hold the button 30 seconds then plug back in .. nothing .. please help me, it's an nVidia Geforce 9500 GT ..

Shall I remove and put the BIOS battery back? or ... something ..

If the only thing you did was replace the DVD drive, then something you did during the replacement is what's causing your problem. There's absolutely no reason to be messing with the video card or CMOS battery. Retrace your steps - what did you do wrong? Is it an IDE drive? Did you set the jumpers correctly? Did you knock something loose while you were connecting the cables? Did you unplug the power cord before opening the case?
