Video card problems

I have a compaq 5wv280 and i have been having problems with some games. On battlefeild, Anarchy online, Jfkreloaded, and my mom's screensavers. The problem is on anarchy online i can see the player and the players feild of vision, but that's it i cant see text or anthing else. On battlefeild for those of you that have it I just can see the main screen but not the text thats in bubbles on the top, but when i play it looks fine. On jfkreloded everything is messed up and i cant make anything out. The card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X. I have tried changing the drivers directx and reinstalling the programs.Please help me solve this problem thx.
