Video Card not detected after reformat

Specs: Windows Vista, 4
I just reformatted my computer and when i booted up again my graphics card isn't detected, i have checked my device manager and it is not listed there, i have a NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT and a ECS mcp61m-m3 motherboard. I have tried to install drivers for my motherboard but they didn't seem to do anything, so i may of not downloaded the right ones...

How did u see desktop if the video card isn't detected? The card is detected if don't believe use gpuz. What u need is video card driver (not included in board drivers disc). Go to Nvidia website and download video card driver.
