Video card needed for flash games?

Specs: Windows Vista
Does it matter what type of video card a computer has for my son to play flash games? He is 8 yo so he isn't into heavy graphics games, mostly just flash games and wizards101 and that kind of thing. He wants a PC for Christmas because my laptop shuts down on him and I don't want to spend a fortune on a new PC. I am looking at a Dell Inspiron 570 Minitower with AMD Athlon™ II X2 Processor 240 (2.8GHz, 1M, 2C) ; 3GB DDR3 SDRAM - 3 DIMMs ; 500GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™ and Integrated ATI Radeon HD4200 Graphics VS. eMachines ET1352G-03w Desktop PC with AMD Athlon II X2 260u processor
1.8GHz, 2MB Total Cache; 4GB DDR3 system memory; 640GB SATA hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE integrated graphics.

The Dell is $350 and the emachine is $378
I trust the Dell name more but I can buy an extended 2 yr warranty with the emachine for only $39.

Which would be a better buy for my son?

The Dell has a faster processor than the eMachines. The Dell also has a cooler (Heat wise) video card than the e-Machines because from my experience ATI cards produce less heat than Nvidia cards.

For support I recommend the Dell because they will maintain the drivers\support page longer than eMachines will. I have had bad experiences with eMachines support due to lack of support for 5 year old computers.

If you want to save money you can find a used Pentium D computer for less than this and it will run any flash games.

Pentium 4s - The processors for the rest of us.

There's no video cards listed, both nvidia 6150 and hd 4200 are IGP's. Yes onboard video can handle well flash games. I agree with Compgeke about DELL.

As kuwese stated, both systems use IGPs (Integrated Graphics Processors) rather than an actual video card. The Geforce 6150 is ancient by computer standards. The Radeon HD 4200 is much more modern & one of the fastest, if not THE fastest IGP currently available. Go with the Dell.
