Ok, today I decided to do something really stupid. I pluged in my old (dead) x850 Crossfire Edition card in my second PCIe slot and booted up with my X1900GT card to try to reflash my X850. When I finally got into windows, strange things happend. the ATi VPU recover came up 2 times and after starting ATi Winflash, the screen went blank. So I turned off my computer, unpluged the X850 and turn it back on. It still POSTs and everything, but after the Windows XP boot screen is done, the screen stays blank and my monitor says no signal. However, I can still here the Windows Logon sound and everything seems to be loading, but no video. It boots up fine in safe mode and VGA mode, but not normally. I used DC to uninstall my drivers and booted normally and it worked... But when I install CCC and ATI 6.6 drivers again, it turns black. I tried to reflash my X1900GT's modded BIOS with the original one, but with ATi Flash and romflash, it says "Adapter not found" and "No ATi Adapter found." So I reinstalled windows and everything ran fine until I again installed the 6.6 drivers. Then I booted up in VGA mode and opened CCC and it said something about not being able to find an ATi Video card..

NOTE: In Sandra 2007 Motherboard screen, it says that in PCIE_X16_1(2h) there is an "ATi Technologies Inc RS480 PCI-X Root Port" device in it even though my X850 Crossfire Edition card was removed. Also, in slot in PCIE_X1_1(5h) there is an "ATi Technologies Inc ??? (5A37)" device in it...

Can someone plz help!

You lost everyone at the point you put the older card in your rig, and also the first card is lost unless you get an ati bios back on it. Those are the dangers and risks of moding vid cards.
