Hello,

I have an HP PAVILION 8505.It is using ASUS P2B-VT motherboard.Chipset is INTEL 440 BX.It has an onboard video card(NVIDIA RIVA TNT with 8 MB memory).AN AGP slot is also provided.I purchased XFX NVIDIA GEFORCE 4 MX 440 AGP card with 64 MB DDR memory and installed it in the AGP slot. After that computer is not responding.I disabled the onboard video card by removing the tick mark from 'Exists in all hardware Profiles' from Display adapters(RIVA TNT HP ENGLISH) under the tab Device Manager as HP suggested.
But it was of no use.I asked HP whether there is any other way of disabling the onboard video and they said that this was the only way. I contacted the manufacturer's of the card and they were also helpless.
HP PAVILION uses PHONEIX BIOS.
Can any one of you provide technical help to disable the onboard video?
Can i disable the onboard video by changing the jumper settings on Mother board or through any option in BIOS?
BIOS has only one option available regarding the video card
and that is 1)PCI 2) AGP. But selection of any of the two options will not make any difference.
Whether manuals for this motherboard ASUS P2B-VT is available?
Please help me to solve this problem

I am including the System Information below

Model : HP PAVILION 8505
Processor : PENTIUM III 450 MHz
RAM : 64 MB(upgraded to 192 MB)
OS : WINDOWS 98 SE
Mother board : ASUS P2B-VT
Chipset : INTEL 440 BX
