I have a Nvidia GeForce 400 MX video adapter card installed on my computer. This adapter has worked fine before. But recently I have tried to update some of my via ide and usb drivers and then re-installed windows. Since then, my computer shows that there is no video adapter installed. Just a simple VgaSave NonPlugandPlay device. I have tried Reinstalling the device and making sure it's plugged in all the way.

I am also a Victem of the same problem,
i have a GeForceFx 5200 '128RAM' installed , worked fine even though Win98 was a little stressed out , i got xp/pro and it was working Fine. But a Few weeks back my power supply was givin me problem , i got a 450watt power supply , and re-install xp/pro after that ntohing happen, i mean xp doenst install the proper drivers , sometime when it sayz it has installed the driver and i re-start the pc , after the xp loading screen , black my monitor shuts down. Then after a re-start my xp loads but on there default vga driver , i cant get any hardware acceleartion. CAnt play any game , the re-pair guy told me it s the wrong drivers , got the latest , same problem. When i try installin the drivers manually through 'Device Manager' the xp/dialog box tells me 'Access Denied'
